Call Record

Call Record
Easily record calls on the fly to a split-stereo audio file, downloadable directly from our Cloud portal and sent to your email address in standard WAV / MP3 audio formats.
(Note: By split-stereo we mean each 'side or direction' of the conversation will be split onto separate left and right audio channels for clarity).

Call Transfer

Call Transfer
Stop yelling across the room or stretching out that handset cord! Transfer that call to a co-worker's extension or even to an external number. You can briefly speak with the party you are transferring the call to (ex: to announce whom you are transferring) or just blind transfer the call in one step.

3-Way Calls

3-Way Calls
You can quickly conference in up to 3 (on some phones up to 6) additional parties (local extensions or external numbers) onto your call and even drop specific parties off the call, all without hanging up the call at all!
3-Way calling, unlike our Conference on Demand feature, is entirely phone based. You would initiate each call to your 3 or 6 participants, manually by pressing the Conference button on your phone, while active on a call.

Voicemail

Voicemail
Access your voice messages on the go! Voicemails will be automatically forwarded to your email address as an audio attachment. You can also manage your Voicemail Inbox via our Cloud portal; (ex: you can listen to messages with our web based voicemail player or quickly delete multiple messages in one step).

Time / Day Router

Time / Day Router
Automatically route callers to alternate destinations within your Cloud PBX by Time of Day. We can create schedules for your holiday hours, business hours, lunch hours... and more ;)

Auto Attendant / IVR

Auto Attendant / IVR
Create a traditional Telephone Menu for your Business. Auto Attendants or IVR Menus are generally used to route callers anywhere within your Cloud PBX. For example: Press 1 for Sales, 2 for Support; a Dial-By-Name directory; give directions to your business along with your regular business hours.
(Planned: An IVR (Interactive Voice Response) based 'Caller Interview' feature where you can gather answers to specific questions from your callers. Perfect for a Telephone questionnaire or survey).

Call Blocker

Call Blocker
We hate spam, and we're sure you do too. Offer up some special treatment to those callers with our Call Blocker. You can instantly hang-up, send directly to voicemail, play a 'number not in service' message or play a 'not accepting your call' message to the caller. Nice!

Call Confirm

Call Confirm
When enabled, calls forwarded or redirected to an external number must be 'confirmed' by pressing a digit before answering. You can safely forward business calls to a personal cellphone without worry. Any unanswered calls will be forwarded to your iPBeX voicemail. Your callers will be unaware their call was forwarded. Slick!

Skype Integrated

Skype Integrated
Place and receive audio calls over Skype's global network with our Skype extensions. Perfect for traveling abroad; outbound calls from Skype will show your main number as Caller ID, while inbound calls to your Skype soft-phone can be reached by dialing a local extension; which is mapped to a Skype username. Unanswered calls will be forwarded to your iPBeX Voicemail.

Music on Hold

Music on Hold
Playing music to a caller while on hold (instead of silence) will help reduce caller hang-ups and confusion as to whether they are still connected or not. You can even take advantage of this opportunity and play Advertisements on Hold or short messages notifying callers of upcoming sales and/or specials.
(Planned: A wider selection of musical genres to choose from. Currently only Smooth Jazz is available).

Call Forward

Call Forward
A traditional feature, call forwarding allows you to redirect calls to your extension to any other local extension or external number. Call forwarding can be enabled directly from the phone, or via our Cloud portal. Combined with our Call Confirm feature, your can even forward calls to a home phone or personal cell phone without hassle as unanswered calls will be re-directed back to your office voicemail. Sweet!

DID Redirector

DID Redirector
A DID (Direct Inward Dial) is any Telephone Number that point towards your Cloud PBX. Internally, DIDs are usually pointed at an Auto Attendant / IVR Menu, Hunt / Ring Group or other system destination. DID Redirector allows you to alter the routing for your DIDs to redirect calls to an alternate location, (local extension or external destination), in the event of an emergency. (Ex: A Heavy snow storm prevents you from getting to your office).
(Note: This feature is only available from our Cloud portal).

Hunt / Ring Groups

Hunt / Ring Groups
As the name implies, this feature allows you to ring groups of phones and extensions simultaneously or sequentially. You can group extensions by department or create one giant ring group company wide; your choice.

Virtual Extensions

Virtual Extensions
Perfect for Telecommuters and Mobile Field Reps, virtual extensions will auto-forward calls to an external number (ex: a cell phone). Optionally direct unanswered calls to an iPBeX voicemail (via Call Confirm); and place outbound calls through your Cloud PBX while showing your main number as Caller ID.

Enhanced 411

Enhanced 411
Give Google a break and use our enhanced 411 information line. Powered by [24]7's Tell Me service, you'll get quick access to traditional 411 directory lookups plus other services such as Driving Directions, Traffic, Weather, Movies, Stocks, Sports, Cheap Gas, News, Time, Travel, Horoscopes and more!
(Note: No extra 411 fees or charges apply. Just the cost of a regular phone call).

Caller ID Selector

Caller ID Selector
Own multiple DID numbers? Great! You can easily switch your Caller ID, to any DID number on your Cloud PBX, on a per call basis. Perfect for businesses with dedicated phone numbers for each department, such as an Investor Relations Hotline or a Support Hotline; all ringing on a single phone or a Hunt / Ring Group of phones.
(Note: To dynamically select a different Caller ID number, you would simply dial a [short code] + [destination number]. No need for virtual extensions, dedicated buttons, or fancy system prompts).

Remote Hold

Remote Hold
Frequently forward office calls to your cell phone? Now you can place those calls on hold, with music, just as if you were still in the office! You won't need to do anything fancy like install apps; in fact, you don't even need a smartphone. Just dial a [short code] while your active on a forwarded call and both you and your caller will be placed on hold, listening to music.
Remote Hold comes in handy, when you receive a 2nd call on your cell phone, or if you simply need to put the phone down for any reason.

Remote Record

Remote Record
Activate Call Recording while you're mobile with our Remote Record feature. It's super simple. Just dial a [short code] anytime during a forwarded call, to start recording. No apps or fancy smartphones necessary. Once your call has completed, you'll receive an MP3 copy of the recording in your email. You can also download or play the recording directly from the Cloud PBX portal.
Remote Record is perfect if you receive a super important business call while your on the go and there's no pen or paper (at the beach) in sight. Just record the call and play it back at your leisure.

Remote Transfer

Remote Transfer
If you're a 'Frequent Forwarder' (we've just made that up), you know how un-settling it is to have to instruct your callers to "call back your office line" to speak to a colleague or have them wait for your call back as you've "just got in the office." Remote Transfer allows you to connect Forwarded callers to any extension on your Cloud PBX, just as if you were still in the office!
Remote Transfer is accessible via a simple [short code], while active on a call. Once activated, your caller will be placed on hold (with music) while you are prompted to enter an extension. No apps to install or fancy smartphones required. It works great from fishing boats.

Shared Lines (SLA)

Shared Lines (SLA)
Shared Line Appearances (SLA), aka Shared Call Appearances (SCA), allow multiple phones on your Cloud PBX to share access to a single extension, or a group of extensions setup in a Hunt / Ring Group. From any other phone sharing a line, you'll be able to see full Caller ID info, for inbound and outbound calls, as well as pickup any calls that were placed on hold elsewhere. If enabled, you can also Barge-In on live calls by simply pressing a line button; no need to conference or transfer the call.
Shared lines are perfect for manager / assistant scenarios, project / team configurations, or small office setups where you prefer to simply press hold and yell Peter, Brian is holding on line 2!
(Note: Shared lines are currently supported on Cisco, Polycom and Grandstream phone models with testing under-way for other brands such as Yealink.

Busy Lamp Fields

Busy Lamp Fields
Busy Lamp Fields or (BLFs) are a traditional PBX feature, allowing a supported phone to monitor the status or presence of other phone extensions on your Cloud PBX. Typically placed on receptionist phones or consoles, usually on add-on button modules, BLF button's will light up and either flash rapidly, blink slowly, remain solid and / or change color as the extension's status changes, (i.e. ringing, in-use, or on-hold or off-line).
Busy Lamp Fields are usually configured with Call Pickup enabled where a receptionist or assistant, for example, could intercept or pickup the ringing extension if the callee is out of the office, or busy in a meeting.

Call Pickup

Call Pickup
Call Pickup, as the name indicates, allows ringing calls to be picked up or intercepted from another phone. Two variants are available: Group Call Pickup and Directed Call Pickup.
With Group Pickup, as long as you can hear a colleague's phone ringing, even if you are unsure which phone is actually ringing, you can pickup that call at your desk. Handy if you are the only one left in the office at night.
Directed Call Pickup on the other hand, allows you to pickup calls from known extensions. Directed Pickup is usually paired with Busy Lamp Fields (BLFs) on receptionist phones / consoles that activate when a monitored extension is ringing. To answer the call, you can either press the flashing, pre-configured BLF button on your phone, or just dial a [short code] + [extension number].

Call Privacy

Call Privacy
Enabling Call Privacy either on a per call basis or system-wide for all calls on your Cloud PBX, will block your Caller ID Name / Number from displaying on outbound external calls. If permanent Call Privacy is enabled, you can un-block your caller ID on a per call basis.
Per call blocking / un-blocking is activated by a [short code] + [destination number]

Call Rejection

Call Rejection
Anonymous Call Rejection blocks all inbound calls to your Cloud PBX with 'Anonymous' or 'Private' as their Caller ID. A short message will play to the caller instructing them to hang up and place their call again, without blocking their number.
Anonymous Call Rejection is available on a per DID Number basis.

Call Park

Call Park
Call Park is a convenient feature where you can place calls into virtual 'parking slots' that can be picked up from any other phone on your Cloud PBX. We can optionally assign each parking slot to a set of BLF (Busy Lamp Field) buttons on all of your phones, for simple one touch park / retrieval. Alternatively, you can dial a [short code] to retrieve the parked call from any extension.
Call park is handy, for example, if you need to place a call with supplier on hold to check your inventory in the stock room. With Call Park, you can simply park the call at your desk and later retrieve it from the phone down in the stock room. Sweet!

Caller ID Magic

Caller ID Magic
With some Caller ID Magic, you can show any external number you own as the Caller ID on your calls! Okay, so it's not really magic, but an awesome feature nonetheless. All USA based mobile, home and business numbers are accepted. Once validated, we'll add the number to your Caller ID Selector; where you would dial a [short code] + [destination number] to have the external number magically displayed as the Caller ID on your outbound calls.
To enable Caller ID Magic for a number, we'll need the phone bill, in your name or your business name, to start. We'll also conduct two-way phone calls and text messages (if applicable) to validate the number. In the future, we may also ask for quick re-validation to ensure the number is still in your possession.

Conference on Demand

Conference on Demand
Need a quick Conference Bridge? Try our Conference on Demand, a dynamic conferencing platform. Just dial an access number to instantly start the call. Login to the portal and you can schedule conferences, dial participants and perform real-time actions such as mute, un-listen, hangup, lock, record (optional), adjust speaker / microphone volumes, and more.
Note: There are no monthly charges with Conference on Demand. We'll simply deduct at the regular per minute rate, for each external participant. You're free to use our public access numbers, assign one of your own DIDs, or add a menu option to your Auto Attendant.
Conference on Demand does not occupy any lines or channels on your Cloud PBX. You can host a conference with 50 callers, even if you only have 4 lines on your plan. Sweet!

Call Trapper

Call Trapper
The war on phone spam continues! Call Trapper, which can reduce phone and fax spam up to 90%, is essentially our Call Blocker on auto-pilot. Available on a per DID Number basis, Call Trapper conducts an instant risk assessment on the Caller ID of an inbound call, using various sources to check for patterns of scams, fraud, telemarketing, and other general annoyances, intelligently rating the call as either not (yet) spam, suspected spam or known spam.

By default, the trap literally shuts on known spammers; playing a number not in service message then hanging up. Suspected spammers are challenged by a random captcha, to verify they are at least human before allowing to pass, or the trap shuts on those idiots too, permanently. Normal callers are allowed to pass unhindered, completely unaware their call just went through the Call Trapper! Victory is ours!

Of course, if a spammer wises up and uses a brand new phone number, there won't be any history associated with it. So, our trusty old Call Blocker will still be available in your arsenal, comrade.

Green Fax

Green Fax
No Fax machine nearby? Not a problem! You can send faxes (optionally with a cover page) directly from our Cloud portal. Received faxes will be sent to your email address and saved in your Fax Inbox, both in standard Adobe PDF format. Go green, save paper! Perfect for all those 'Cancun vacation' junk faxes.

Fax Contacts

Fax Contacts
Fax much? Quickly store numbers for all your Cloud Faxing needs. You can create contact groups to help manage your contacts and quickly add or send faxes via a single click on a contact number.
(Planned: A bulk faxing enhancement that will utilize Fax Contact groups to send faxes to multiple recipients).

Business SMS

Business SMS
Fact: Text Messages are checked and read more often then emails and usually within 5 minutes. Get access to our simple Business SMS platform where you can quickly send and receive SMS / Text messages to and from your clients as an alternate form of business to client communication. Received messages are sent to your email address and are also viewable directly from our Cloud portal. You can even reply or compose a new message right from your email without logging into the portal.
(Note: Our Long Code SMS numbers are not suitable for mass marketing and promotional campaigns. We have planned support for Short Code SMS Numbers which will fully support all SMS campaigns).

Auto Replier

Auto Replier
SMS / Text auto repliers are great for small advertising campaigns (think secret sale), or to give out small bits of information like a confirmation to an inquiry. Auto repliers can either be a single keyword or a short phrase. You can set an auto replier to expire sometime in the future and automatically add responders to a specific contact group.

SMS Contacts

SMS Contacts
Text Much? Quickly store numbers for all your SMS / Texting needs. You can create contact groups to help manage your contacts and quickly add or send messages via a single click on a contact number. Combined with our Auto Replier you can have the system auto create contacts from your texting clients and add them to a contact group. Groups can also be used to send mass messages to all contacts with a group with the option to block contact from receiving group messages.
(Note: Our Long Code SMS numbers are not suitable for mass marketing and promotional campaigns. We have planned support for Short Code SMS Numbers which will fully support all SMS campaigns).

SMS Scheduler

SMS Scheduler
Let's make it a date. You can quickly and easily schedule an SMS / Text message to be sent a day, week, month, or heck even a year later. Send your clients (or yourself) an appointment reminder, billing alert, mail call, wakeup call, or any other quick bit of information you can thick of. You can schedule text messages to be sent to a single contact or an entire contact group.

SMS Templates

SMS Templates
Constantly scheduling appointments or processing orders? Enhance your workflow by creating an SMS Template such as: "Hello [NAME], your appointment has been scheduled for [DATE] at [TIME]" or "Hello [NAME], your order [ORDER] has been shipped: [TRACKING]."
Then select the template when composing your message and simply edit the NAME, DATE and TIME or the NAME, ORDER and TRACKING to personalize the text. No need to keep retyping (or copying and pasting) the message.
SMS templates can be global or number based, and each template will be available from the Chat, Text or Replier windows.

SMS Conversations

SMS Conversations
Strike up a convo with our SMS Conversations, mobile style. Once in the Chat / Conversation window, your messages will stack left and right, similar to a Chat App on a smartphone. New messages will auto populate without refreshing the page. You can even use your custom SMS Templates for quicker replies; just as if you were in the standard 'Send a Text' window.
Open SMS Conversations, will temporarily disable the text to email feature for that number (to avoid spamming your email), and will automatically re-enable upon exiting the chat.
